Welcome to the Tinkertown Supply and Alfred State College of Technology Skills USA page!
The photographs to the right were taken at the 4th Annual Skills USA State Competition. The competition was hosted last year by the Alfred State College School of Technology in Wellsville. Alfred State was the first college in New York State to have a student organization for postsecondary (college level) Skills USA-VICA and continues to lead in the process.
Tinkertown Supply was was asked to assist Alfred State College by seeking donations from our many tool vendors to be used as prizes for the Skills USA Competition. We were honored to be invited to participate in this endeavor and grateful to our tool vendors for their generous support!
In 2005 ten participants from Alfred State College and one from Delhi were sent to Nationals and seven students placed in the top ten in the nation!
